RAF Mustang III/IV Squadron strength was typically twenty aircraft per squadron.
Six more RAF squadrons (3 Sqn RAAF, 5 Sqn SAAF, 112 Sqn, 213 Sqn, 249 Sqn and 260 Sqn) operated the Mustang III and IV in the MTO. Mustang III’s assigned to the MTO arrived via Casablanca and did not receive the Malcolm Hood modification.
